The Puente Project is an academic preparation program that for more than 25 years has improved the college-going rate of tens of thousands of California’s educationally disadvantaged students. Its mission is to increase the number of educationally disadvantaged students who:
- Enroll in four-year colleges and universities
- Earn college degrees
- Return to the community as mentors and leaders of future generations
Puente Club meetings are during lunch every Wednesday in Mrs.Horns room 902.

- GPA 2.0-4.0
- In English 9 placement or about
- Determined to go to college
- Interested in Latino literature and culture

MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Puente Project is to increase the number of educationally underserved students who enroll in four-year colleges and universities, earn their degrees, and return to the community as leaders and mentors to future generations.
