Digital Minds Robotics Competition!

This past weekend on April 7th and 8th, Digital Minds joint robotics team of Woodland and Pioneer students competed at the Central Valley Regional competition in Fresno, CA.
Competing against top tier teams from all over California we ranked 9th out of 47 teams.

The team had the opportunity to become alliance captains and were able to advance to the quarter finals.
 
Digital Minds has been invited to the First Robotics Championship competition in Houston, TX from April 18th - 21st.

Congratulations to two WHS seniors, Alexis Rojas and Edgar Arreola, who won cash awards for their essay submissions for the Black History-Multicultural Day Celebration in Guinda on Saturday, February 10, 2018! The topic this year was “Black History” for this annual event, open to all seniors in Yolo County high schools each February—next year is your turn!
 
 

Paint Nite!!

Paint Nite will be March 13th at 6:00 PM in the commons. Tickets are $45.00 and will benefit the class of 2020.

Region 4 FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) competitions that took place at Cordova High School in Rancho Cordova, CA this past Saturday Feb. 3rd.  Our students took 1st place in Salad Prep, 3rd place in Menu Planning and Table Display, 2nd place in Child Development, 2nd place in Life Event Planning.  From left to right the students are Faith Brown, Rosaamilia Cordova, Cheyenne Blaut and CJ Arias.
